The Happiest Place on Earth

So this past week we unexpectedly decided to go to Disneyland for our anniversary, while I was still off of work...I have to go back on Monday after 7 weeks off :(....Levi's mom works for the airlines so she had given each of us a round trip buddy pass, so we decided to take advantage. The only bad part is you have to fly standby. We thankfully got out on a flight to Burbank and then rented a car when we got there. We went to Disneyland for two days and had a blast. The night we got there, Levi's mom called and said that her and Levi's dad were going to come out too. So they spent one day with us there. Since Levi is the Nazi tour guide, we were there the first day from opening at 8am until about 10:30pm after the fire works....over 14 hours of jam packed fun! I was so exhausted and my feet hurt so bad the next day. But the most exciting part was, when the park first opened the first day we were there, we headed straight to Indiana Jones to avoid a long line. We got through in about 20 minutes and we were off to the next ride. We tried to do Haunted Mansion next, but it ended up being shut down all day. Next, Levi wanted to ride Splash Mountain at 8:30 in the morning. So of course no one was in line because no one is stupid enough to want to get soaked that early, so we hopped right on. As we were exiting the ride, there were two Disney workers standing there that said, "Congratulations, you won!" We were like, "Great, what did we win?" Come to find out we won the Disney Dream Fast Pass for the day. We basically got a fast pass (and got to go to the front of the line) for every major ride between Disneyland and California Adventure Park. It was so amazing! We didn't have to wait in line at all! And since Levi's parents left early that day to catch their flight back, we got to use most of their fast passes too. So we ended up riding rides twice in a row, with no waiting. Definitely a spoiling first time to Disneyland for me. One of the Disney workers told us later in the day that they give out 400 passes a day at an unknown location and time. Since there are about 40,000 people that visit the park each day, that is about a 1% chance of winning. How lucky were we??

Kelsi, that's awesome! One of the best kept secrets of Disneyland, and they're so hard to find!!! We've been to Disneyland many times and we've only gotten them once. So fun.
