the price we pay for beauty...

or convenience...or stupidity...i dont know.

but i got tatted up. yeah ok, it's really just cosmetic makeup, but sounds way cooler to say i got a tattoo, right!?

the morning after...{yes, lovely i know} but you need to see this so you can appreciate the after :)

just one week later...

i first got this done in april, but had it touched up again when i was in utah. seriously hurts, but seriously worth it to never have to put eyeliner on again! apparently i'm "harder" to work on than the average person. but seriously, who can really lie there and "act like they're asleep" with a tattoo needle in their eye!? apparently not me.

{i can truly appreciate why one might want to have a little somethin-somethin to drink before going anywhere near a tattoo parlor. believe me, it crossed my mind, jk. sort of.}

It looks great! There are several teachers that I work with that have had it done. They say the same thing....it hurts but totally worth it. My eyes were watering just looking at your picture!!

Looks awesome. Are your eyebrows done too or dyed? They look wonderful too. You are very brave, I think I'll just keep applying mine every day :-).

Family....That's what it's all about! :) said...

WOW.... I was just talking about how this worked and if I would do it. If you said it hurts, I am just going to keep applying my own liner. ha... You are brave and it looks wonderful! :)

Your daughter is adorable...and beautiful! I know your parents are loving her to death! I am a new grandparent and its next to Heaven! Say hello to everyone and Hope your husband is doing well. I haven't checked in, in a long time. My blog is years behind. I have got to get back to it!

Precious family!
