This post is a little daunting...I do not have the words to express our gratitude and amazement.
We have never experienced such true examples of service in our life as we have during this time. Everything from prayers, cards, phone calls, donated Fantasy Football winnings, the Young Men taking down Levi's millions of Christmas lights in the freezing cold and countless meals or unexpected treats at our door. Then to top it all off, this amazing benefit dinner. Levi hesitated accepting the generous offer because he didn't want to feel like a charity case. But there has been so many people out there that want to help, this has been a great avenue to do so.
The dinner was a HUGE success. We think there was close to 600 people there and couldn't believe the turn out for just little ol' us. What did we do to deserve this?? Between everyone's hard work, time and financial donations, we can't say thank you enough. So many wonderful family, friends and people we didn't even know, came out to show their support. It was a great demonstration of a community and church coming together.
All the food was donated, including the delicious Olive Garden salad and breadsticks. There were great auction items donated and think everyone enjoyed bidding on the items. There was some cool stuff, was wishing I could bid, but think that would be defeating the purpose :)
Then to top it all off, an amazing girl that got involved with helping with his benefit dinner, helped arrange another benefit.

Jamie. It all began with her idea. Thank you Jamie!

You all are an inspiration to the rest of us. we get caught up in the drama of the world around us, and then I think about you all and it makes me take a reality check. You are truly showing what married couples and families are "suppose" to do for each other. You inspire me Kelsie! You are an amazing Wife and Mom! and I know Levi knows that as well!
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G I wish I could have been there to see it. You guys are amazing and deserve it all.
