We had so much fun going to Cabo with the Pikes' and the Shaws'. {And do you think I got one pic of the Shaws', NO. Grr.} There were 6 adults and 7 kids. I think Brecken is a little fun deprived being home alone with no one to play with today. So I am blogging instead of folding a MOUNTAIN of laundry per my sister's request. Now SHE can come clean and fold my laundry. Deal!?
Cabo was a great location in November and weather was awesome. Was high 80's everyday and didn't rain once. We were the only ones ever using the beach or the pool, so it was like our own private vacation. We did learn that stop signs are optional in Mexico {no incidents thankfully} but it was overall clean and the locals were very nice.
The pool at our condos. The condos were a great way to go, especially with kids. We had our own kitchen and grill along with washer and dryer. We cooked most of our meals and enjoyed the view and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach.
View from our balcony. Seven days in paradise, here we come.
This little baby had a rough go, but was a happy camper anyway! She had to get 2 antibiotics forced down her throat twice a day which caused diarrhea and later an awful rash all over. Poor thing. She had also less than ideal sleeping conditions with two rowdy toddlers running around, but she was a champ anyway and slept pretty good the whole time.
One of many melt downs. It's so hard to be 3.
Q took a face plant in the sand.
Me and my sweet girl that was attached at the hip the whole time. I couldn't really put her down on all the tile, so my left arm got really strong. She's in for a rude awakening after being held non-stop for a week!
Pack-n-play at the beach. Brilliant.
She loved the beach over at this spot. Perfect temperature and the waves were broken up by some little coves of rocks.
This was family picture attempt numero uno. This happened before we could even take one single picture.
But hey, the front of the dress wasn't ruined, so we snapped a few anyway.
Partners in crime. Us adults got sick of breaking up fights, but they really did have a blast.
This was the most time we had spent together as a family in about 2 years, and I LOVED it. Since me and Levi have opposite days off it just seems like we're juggling kids back and forth to make life work. But I'm thankful for our jobs and we're making it work for now!
So much fun with the Pikes'!
The girl is officially a fish. Swimming with her face in the water and jumping into the pool with her life jacket all by herself. {It sure made it nice for us!}
This was one vacation I wasn't excited to get home. We just LOVED it. No plans and hanging out was PERFECT. Now, back to life. Back to reality. Boo.
