Basement Preview

Everything is not put away and decorated, but it's FINISHED and we LOVE it.

Almost 40 weeks

Yeah, definitely not thrilled with either of these pictures, but here ya go. I guess this is what you get at this point in the game...now just waiting.

The baby's room is finally done! She's welcome to come anytime (hint hint)! Levi had to put every piece of furniture together and stayed up until 2am last night building the dresser that came in a million pieces. I love the way the room turned out. The walls are still bare, still trying to decide what I want to do...details details. Pictures of the basement in the next day or two, still organizing down there, just details lacking there too. I am excited to have a new place to decorate though. Again, props to Levi's hard work on everything, love him!

Welcome Baby Cache (not my baby)

Sorry to get anyone's hopes up (even mine), but we're not welcoming our baby, we're welcoming Levi's brother's baby, Cache Boyd Rose. He was born July 22nd and weighed just over 7lbs, sharing a birthday with Levi's grandma, Twila. He was so precious and made us very excited to meet our baby girl hopefully sooner than later! Maybe these two were playing in heaven together and she will want to come now that he's come! I did think it was a little unfair that Melissa was due 2 weeks after me and got to have her baby first!

"Tri" for your Cause

This past weekend Levi did his first sprint triathalon which consists of:

1. 500 M Swim

2. 10 mile bike

3. 3 mile run

He finished in 1 hr and 13 minutes and I think is hooked! He had a blast (other than getting pasted by a 63 year old man)!

*Pics to come soon of the basically finished basement. Needs some organization and few last details. Also, Levi started painting the baby's room, so hopefully pictures of that by this weekend. I have to say, I have the best husband in the world, he has been working so hard to get this done and I love him so much! I know he has been stressed out by this, so I just can't say thank you enough to him.

36 Weeks

No, it is not a weird angle...my tummy is definitely a bit pointy.

No, I did not steal a basketball from Wal-Mart and hide it in my shirt. (Thanks for checking, Mr. Big-O-Tires man)

No, I did not eat a watermelon seed.

And no, I did not use sunscreen this weekend and got completely fried...ouch!!

Only 27 days!?

I've been lucky and have had a really easy pregnancy, and I keep getting, the, "when are you going to pop?" questions and "are you so ready to be done"?? Well, NO. I'm starting to freak out just a bit from how much there is to do before she comes. (So little baby, if you are listening, PLEASE don't come early!)

Here is the "adorable" nursery so far....

Crossing our fingers it will be done within a couple of weeks...

Did you see any room to shove the cute, comfy glider in the nursery? Yeah, me neither, hence why it has been sitting in the middle of my living for a month. Nice touch, dont you think?
