Levi's Graduation Pics

We went up to Boulder yesterday to take Levi's graduation announcement pictures. His graduation ceremonies are May 9th and have been a long time coming! Congratulations babe! His next plans include taking the GRE and applying for a one-year, non-thesis graduate program so he can re-apply to dental school next year. He also recently got a part-time job up at our neighborhood community center sitting at the front desk. It will give him plenty of time to study as well as give him spare time to work in his garden and yard....his true love.

Cottage Cheese Please

So I was visiting one of my least favorite customers yesterday, a family business of which the father had passed away a couple of months ago. I offered my condolences to the son and he said, "He's right here," and pointed to a Viva! Fat Free Cottage Cheese tupperware. His ashes were in the used food container!!!! Can we say...awkward! And not to mention WEIRD! Apparently they haven't gotten around to purchasing a formal urn. Until then...at least he's fat free!

So long Drew...see you in 2 years!

We went to Utah this past weekend for my brother's missionary farewell. He is leaving April 16th to serve his mission in Tulsa, OK. We are so proud of him and he did an amazing job giving his farewell talk in church. We will miss him (no crying mom!) but know he is doing the Lord's work and will do an awesome job. It was good to see all the family and especially my grandparents from TX that we so rarely get to see...we love you all!

Levi's 27th Birthday!

Levi's 27th Birthday was on March 24th...so yeah...I'm a little behind. I've been sooo busy with work I haven't had a chance to sit down. Anyway, as you can see, his candles say 57...his choice. He thinks he is so old and says he's starting to look old. Those gray hairs are starting to peak through, so he makes it up by shaving his arms. Take a close look, smooth as a baby's bottom. So Happy Birthday babe...love you!
